Welcom to Spindorax online tutorial.
You will follow a step-by-step process to create a composition using a photo taken on the subway
The sample image was taken in angle to show a perspective and demonstrate how Spindorax works

At startup, Spindorax shows a default background with a contour detected and
already selected (green color).

Double-tapping the contour will toggle the selction.
Unselected contours are shown in red color
|

Tap on "Set Background" icon to bring the Pick & Edit view.
In the new window, tap on the "Camera" icon to select an image from your "Photo Library"

The sample image have 5 photo rectangles but we want to show only 3 of them
Tap the "Crop" button to enable cropping controls.
Move the "Crop - Circles" to enclose the desired area and tap on "Ok" button.

Cropped image is now displayed.
If you need to adjust "Brightness & Contrast",
tap on "Tunning" buton to enable "Brigthness & Contrast" control.

Tap on "Done" button to go back to Spindorax main window.
Spindorax has detected only 1 frame, and it's not accurate on its
bottom-left corner.

Tap on "Setting" button to modify detection parameters.
Increase the "Passes" value.
You may need to play with other values:
- Min Size: minimum size (in % of main background) a contour should have to be detected
- Max Size: maximum size (in % of main background) a contour should have to be detected

Tap on "Done" button to setting window.
Now, Spindorax detected 3 contours and they are more accurate. The biggest contour is automatically selected.
If you don't get the result you expect, tap on "Set Background" to edit "Brightness & Contrast".
Note: Blurry or dark images are not good for contour detection.

Tap on "Set Photo" icon to bring the "Pick and Edit" view.
Note: Selected contour has a rectangular shape.

Tap on "Crop" icon to enable the controls.
Move the crop circles to enclose a section to match the aspect ratio of contour we are working on.
Note: In this exampe we enclose a square to show how image is distorted when applied to our contour.

Tap on "Ok" icon crop the photo.
Tap on "Done" icon apply the photo into our selected contour.
|

Double-Tap the second contour to select it.
|
|
 |
Repeat the process to set a photo on it.
|
|
 |
Repeat the process to select and set a photo into the last contour.
|
|
 |
To see how final result looks like, tap the switch at the top-right corner to hide the contours.
|
|
 |
From here, your are ready to email or save the result.
Result image will be saved or emaild without contours,
regardless they are visible or not.
